The rest of the semester
Our last studio recital is this coming Saturday 11-12 at O'Neil Music house. We will have Thanks giving break from 11/22-11/27. Our coming competition will be ensemble competition at LSU school of music on 12/5 and Baroque and Classical competition at LSU school of music on 12/12. Our Fall semester ends on 12/16/2015.

Spring of 2015
Spring semester of 2015 will starts on 1/5 and ends on 5/24. Please read the policy carefully.
Ching Song's Piano Studio Policy
Spring of 2015 (Jan.6th-May.23th)
The full semester tuition and a nonrefundable $75 (per student) registration fee are due before the 1st lesson of the semester. Fees for music, contest, etc. will be due on the 1st lesson of the month when applicable. There are 5 months and 20 weeks in this semester. There will be approximately two studio class per month.
Tuition for Private Teaching (monthly) Tuition for partnership teaching (monthly)
$120 for 30 minutes (4-6 years old) $100 for 30 minutes (per students)
$180 for 45 minutes $140 for 45 minutes (per Students)
RULES FOR STUDENTS:
• Remain within studio room at all time. No chatting or moving around is allowed while waiting in the studio.
• Neatness is expected. Students are requested to come to lessons with hands washed, nails trimmed, and hair pulled back. Gum chewing is not allowed at piano lesson. Do not bring food or drink into the studio.
• Be on time. Time will not be taken from the following lesson to accommodate late arrivals.
• Practice every day and record your practice times. Bring all of your music and notebook.
• Do not come to the lesson if you are sick or if you had a fever within the last 24 hours.
RULES FOR THE PARENTS:
• Parents are not to remain in the studio during the lesson time.
• Check the notebook after each class and listen frequently to your child’s practice.
• The beginner students should practice at least 30 minutes per day. Others should practice at least 45 minutes per day.
• Parents are responsible for maintaining a well-tuned piano in a room free from distractions. (i.e. TV, pets, siblings)
• Please do not park in front of the mailbox or in the driveway. Lock the door when you leave the car.
• The repertoire that is given by the teacher is based on student’s level and ability. Parents might suggest but not force to change it.
ATTENDANCE
Once the time is scheduled for each student, no refund will be given for a missed lesson. Make up lessons will only be given due to real emergencies. If a make-up lesson is cancelled, there will be no more rescheduling. The make-up lesson needs to be completed within the month of absence. The teacher has to be notified in advance prior to cancellations.
HOLIDAYS AND CONVENTIONS
There will be no class on the week of Mardi Gras (3/1-3/7). The week of Spring Break (4/18-4/25). One lesson will be missed if the teacher chooses to attend the state or national convention.
DISMISSAL
The teacher may terminate lessons when: Student has behavioral or attitude problems; Nonpayment of tuition or other expenses. If a student studies piano with another teacher while he or she is enrolled in ChingSong’s studio. A conference call with the parents will be held prior to termination.
